Denim x Silk

Ah Thursday, we've almost made it! It's a shock that we're all in one piece considering the temperatures! I know we shouldn't moan and it's a very British thing to do.... But us Brits aren't equipped for this heat. Well, the London Underground certainly isn't.

Thank you all so much for bearing with me whilst I took a couple of weeks away from the blog. Sometimes in life, things occur that aren't expected and we have to prioritise how we manage them. My blog is a priority, but now and again, it will have to take a back seat, and that's okay. 

The guys at Comb, in particular Moeeze, took these photographs of me last week (it wasn't quite 30 degrees then but it was nearing....and then I got lost underground at Bank station because it's HUGE, anyway). By the way, have you used the Comb app yet? You can literally upload a photo of something you've seen that you adore but can't find and like magic, Comb finds it for you!

The wonderful PR team at River Island sent me these jeans to try and I adore them. I haven't had any denim from River Island since my teenage years *cough, 10 years ago, cough* and I've never really taken too much notice of high street denim before now. They fit beautifully, they are a boyfriend slim leg with a stepped hem and some distressed areas on the front, but just enough! 

I popped on a past season silk button detail shirt from Maison Martin Margiela and my wonderful Gucci Princetown loafers, which are like slippers. The most comfortable shoe I own by a long shot! Although they are a little pricey, I'd say if you're looking for an investment shoe, you've found them. Obviously gold won't last forever, but the black ones will...
