Capes, Cambridge and Cuffs
I do love a bit of layering, especially in Winter. So when ARK Clothing sent me out this little caped beauty, I was pretty made up. Beautiful charcoal means its so easy to pair up with a lot you probably already have in your wardrobe. I popped my trusty Zara leather skinny pants on with my silk shirt and new ARK boots from my last post to make this outfit perfect for a cold day. The finishing touches to this outfit were kindly sent to me by two brands I love. The first is The Collective Boutique, an online store that has you covered with all the coolest accessories from some of the best up and coming and established designers across the board. Owned by Hanna who is the loveliest person ever. She sent me out a dreamy Maria Francesca Pepe ear cuff which I adore. I'm such a sucker for ear detailing! The second is My Bag, Clare was kind enough to send me this incredible navy and pony hair Cambridge Satchel Company bag and I am all over it for my trip to New York. It's coming everywhere with me.

Fur Friends
Fur is fast becoming my best friend. Warm, furry and cuddly, everything I want from the puppy my dad won't let me have! So Missguided have pretty much made my week with this little baby. I spent the day with some of my extended little family (ages under 4!) and Luisa of A Stylish Something so I popped on some comfortable layers in view of getting very sweaty at a soft play area. The boots, oh, the boots, are just incredible. They are from Ark clothing and I've worn them religiously because they are a mega staple piece. Pointy, suede and black boots make for the essential in any Winter wardrobe update. I also had my hair done this week....it's all short! I love it though, I feel like my inner Tomboy is on the loose more than ever now.

Packing for Thailand
In January, I'm heading on a two week travelling holiday to Thailand. Now I realise that's five months away but, I need to be ahead of the game when choosing what to pack. I'm going to be backpacking so I want staple pieces that I can wear day after day and not be weighed down by the over-packing situations I usually get myself into. That's where Ark Clothing come in. I'm assuming I will be living in shorts during my time Island hopping so I've popped together my Ark shorts wishlist, and believe me, they've got some crackers in at the moment. Denim shorts are a go-to Summer staple so I've gone for two pairs here, different in colour and perfectly distressed. The other two pairs are more for a night time look, just incase my boyfriend wants to take me anywhere that's not a hostel!I've kept colours muted so they are easily teamed with any colour.

Stripes
Stripes have got to be my favourite 'wear anywhere' trend. Given half the chance, I'd wear something oversized and nautical everyday. Here I'm wearing a somewhat girly pinstripe pencil skirt that's borderline too tight for my liking....but I can deal with it. I'm still obsessing over my Ark platforms in this post, I've always thought a great pair of shoes can make an outfit, and I still stand by that! This is definitely a trait I picked up form my fabulously stylish mum who owns so many shoes, she has to hide them from my dad.

Jumpsuit
Here I am, finally giving in to the power of the jumpsuit. Not only the jumpsuit in all it's neoprene glory, but some super tred platforms inspired by Stella McCartney as well! Both from the wondrous Ark Clothing and making my Saturday nights more chic. I dragged one of my friends out to take my shots this weekend and she did find my almighty height of 6''6 in these platforms somewhat hilarious. Jumpsuits are so easy to wear and if you're not into your girly fashion, these are the absolute one- subtle cut outs at the sides make this piece night time ready without the worry of your skirt blowing up in the wind. Perfect.

Tartan
To say I've grown a strong love for clashing prints would be somewhat an understatement. I love tartan, and I love stripes. Below is the result of my little clash print mind! Ark Clothing have got some class little pieces in at the moment and I'm loving their coat selection, maybe a little too much! This outfit has come to be my go-to hang out outfit. Relaxed and chic enough for daytime shopping and drinking flavoured coffee. Thankfully it was pretty sunny out today so, thank you weather!

Laid back luxe
The winter is on it's way, and fast. So I wanted to shoot a style that represents my perfect warm Sunday laid back luxe style.Still boy-ish, yes but what can I do? I love chunky knits and I'm coming round to the idea of tartan/check so I thought I'd put an oversized multi tone blue check shirt under my perfect waffle knit from Ark Clothing as a subtle salute to the trend. This backpack from Ark Clothing has almost got me wishing I was still studying, it's absolutely class - 3 compartments inside for all the rubbish we tend to carry around and I have been, and always will be, a sucker for black and gold.

Tailored chic with ARK Clothing
ARK Clothing have got me feeling very Summery indeed. This cream & gold flecked Grecian style dress is perfect for a Summers evening on the beach, drinking rum & coke!
I love anything that's tailored, so when I popped into town last week I got my hands on this incredible long line powder blue blazer for £1 from The Red Cross charity shop. It's perfectly oversized and the colour is beautiful.
