Pops of orange with Another 8
Another 8 literally made my week when this fluffy beauty arrived last week. It's so vibrant and cosy that all at the same time, I miss Summer and I'm yearning for winter! I popped this oversized goodness on with my trusty ASOS Farleigh jeans and slouchy Boohoo tee for a super chilled out Sunday. Another 8's new season collection is quite mind-blowing so if I were you, I'd go and check it out. Plus, did you know they are now stocked on ASOS and in Topshop Oxford Circus? Amazing. These ASOS jeans are the best fitting jeans I've come across in ages, they even come in tall! Result! They are a skinny, high waisted fit and this wash really screams cool, casual vibes. I'm in denim heaven.

Casual
Firstly, sorry for my lack of posting over the weekend. I dropped my phone into a sink full of water on Friday, so my little iPhone was residing in a coffin full of rice for three days! Thankfully, by some kind of miracle, it's absolutely fine and working again.
*FYI- Putting your phone into a sealed container with dry rice for a few days,in an airing cupboard, really does save your iPhone if it has been dropped into water.
Most of my favourite outfits are clean, simple and casual. I feel most at home in slightly boy-ish notes and always love mixing in monochrome, one way or another! This is what I wore last Thursday when I went into Manchester for the Whistles A/W Press Day with Charlotte from LurchHoundLoves. It had been hammering it down all day so I tried to dress practical chic...if that is such a thing! Luckily, as soon as I hit Manchester the sun was shining.

I am totally in lust land with this look. I'm lucky enough to have the sunglasses on their merry way to me c/o The Little Deer and those of you who know about my love affair with Another 8 London will know I already have this Jamie backpack. That leaves this unreal Lavish Alice dress & Whistles clean cut pastel shoes. A girl can wish!

Summer suiting
I'm taking major inspiration from suiting at the moment and trying to put a Summer spin on it. I always find tailoring to be the most flattering and it's so easy to wear. For cooler days, tailoring always looks amazing with layers of clean cut beauty thrown in! I always feel most happy and confident in tailoring because it looks polished and I think because I'm tall, it suits my figure best.

I've worn these jeans, embarrassingly enough, every day since they arrived from She Likes 4/5 days ago. They are ripped to perfection and a really gorgeous heavier denim so they don't feel legging-like or cheap. Then there are the mules....I'm getting better at walking in them but I'd say there's still some room for improvement.

Coralista
Coral! Spring is finally springing and what better way to welcome it than with a pop of coral. Being the non-girly girl that I am, it seemed only right that I 'masc' these gorgeous shorts from Rare London up with with black and leather notes. I'm super impressed with the quality, fit and price point of these little shorts and they will be travelling the world with me this Summer. Not everything on the pink side of things has to be girly!
Obviously my sliders are here again in all their Zara glory, I can't not wear them. They are ridiculously comfortable but I have now walked out of them during walking approx 4 times and it is a VERY embarrassing situation to be in. The price we pay for fashion!

Peace and Love
As the weather warms up, my desire to wear dresses grows a little stronger. I'm not talking a girls' girl dress, I'm talking throw on luxe. Missguided have got the most amazing collection in at the moment, it's the Peace and Love collection that's a little more luxe for your money. It's beautiful and I had the hardest time choosing from it! I finally settled on this grey midi oversized dress with leather detailing. It is beyond perfect for me because it's so easy to wear super casual. My platform shoes are also Missguided and I've wanted to get my hands on these babies FOREVER. I adore them! I was lucky enough to be sent some absolutely stunning jewellery this week, you can see my long drop silver and rose gold pendant from Only Child London in the shot.
Luxury British brand, FERA Jewellery is fast becoming one of my favourite brands. Chunky, masculine silver offset with delicate pieces is the name of the game and I am besotted. You can shop all pieces seen here online, but be quick, this is a much anticipated drop! I'm wearing the Fera Ring, Boss Chain Ring and Fera pendant.

Pool side
Sliders. Dubbed the 'ugly' shoe for SS14. Well who cares because I'm absolutely sold on these babies! These are from Topshop and at £22, how can you not? I'm beyond excited for Summer to arrive and as I write this post I'm packing for a weekend in London where the forecast says it's 17 degrees! I can't tell you how ready for a break I am. The amazing girls are Boohoo sent me these incredible slouchy luxe pants from the Boohoo Boutique collection, and I have lived in them since they arrived. My top is good old Zara, sports luxe is the aim of the game, and I'm loving this slouchy basketball-esque vest. My lips are smothered in one of the most beautiful lipsticks I've ever used, NARS 'Heat Wave' and it is absolutely perfect.
