Tailoring Layers

Monday. I've had a Monday that started with me turning up for work, only to find out I was on a rotated day off.....surprise day off, can't be bad!
I hope you had some lovely surprises today too, not ones that result in a lot more work than you bargained for.

A couple of weeks ago, I shot with my Northern pal Emma, near to where we live. Obviously, we fed ourselves first, then we got down to the nitty gritty; getting changed into our chosen outfits in broad daylight, in public.

This blazer by Ganni is such a favourite of mine, the cut and fit are both second to none. I wear it in Spring/Summer and Autumn/Winter as a layering piece. I think that's what you call an 'investment piece', or at least thats what I tell myself. I'm wearing a simple roll neck underneath as I didn't want to detail of the jacket to be outshone.
I've got my trusty Bethnals boy fit jeans on (now in the sale!) with some ASOS mules to add a smart/chic feel to the outfit.

This bag, my beloved Anya Hindmarch bag, is now back in stock. My sunglasses are Ray-Ban and I always love wearing this. Bring back Summer!

Thank you so much for reading and I hope you've had a decent start to the week.

xx
