London Fashion Week Day 1 with Schwarzkopf at Felder Felder

I want to tell you all about Day 1 of London Fashion Week with Schwarzkopf at the Felder Felder show, from backstage to front row! I don't know how to begin to tell you just how incredible an experience it truly was. Aside from the nerves surrounding my time to interview the Felder girls and Armin, Schwarzkopf's international stylist, I was literally buzzing with excitement the entire time. Every single person I came into contact with from Schwarzkopf couldn't have been lovelier and as for Chalk PR, the guys looking after Schwarzkopf, and me! Well they were just incredible people.

My day began at 10.30am where the majorly talented Armin cut my hair to fit in with the Felder Felder show hair look. Drawing inspiration from the laid back, sultry 70's, he worked wonders on me. From my usual blunt cut long bob he gave me a messy, relaxed short bob which I'm kind of in love with. Backstage was such an amazing place to be, it started off pretty relaxed but soon became a hub of electricity. There was the best vibe in the air, models being prepped and dressed, the Felder girls catching up with everyone and then finally the call for the show to begin.

Last season I had the mega opportunity to see the Felder Felder show from front row and their collection was hands down my favourite of the season. This season was absolutely no different, the sultry 70's and 'Rock Glam' vibes filled every corner of Freemasons Hall and I was once again wishing I could have lived through the 70's. I have popped a few of my absolutely favourite looks from the show above, I think you'll agree that if you weren't feeling the 70's trend before, you will be now.

Stay tuned for my diary of Day 2 with Schwarzkopf where I tested out my interviewing skills to find the best dressed hair on the street!

London Fashion Week Day 1

So here are a few from Day 1...now I was actually the busiest person of life on Friday with Schwarzkopf at Felder Felder so there are more outfit shots floating about out there somewhere but they are absolutely not on my camera! Terrible blogger.
I wanted to share a few highlights from Friday just so you could see my outfit choice anyway before I post my mega experience with Schwarzkopf later this week. I was decked out in denim trying to channel some lovely 70's vibes. My Manc mate Megan was also working the denim and we were twinning for the entirety of Friday! We had the best time with the rest of the girls, but I've got a whole other post for those guys coming soon.

The guys over at Warehouse were kind enough to send me out some pieces from the look book so they aren't out yet, but as soon as they drop (fairly soon) I'll post the links for you. Their 70's denim collection is outta this world.

You can however shop my neckerchief from ASOs- an absolute staple for the 70's trend and so cheap!

I hope you had an incredible weekend too. Stay tuned this week for the rest of my adventures!

Felder Felder SS15 London Fashion Week with Schwarzkopf

Day 1 at London Fashion Week this year was incredible. I was the luckiest blogger in the world and won the chance to watch the Felder Felder show from the FROW, stay at The Mayfair hotel, have my hair and make-up done by the Schwarzkopf team and finally, attend the Felder Felder after party- plus I got to take my close friend Luisa of A Stylish Something to enjoy every second with me.
I felt like I was on some kind of life swapping documentary! It was honestly mental, but amazing. I don't think I stopped talking all day, I even struggled to sleep that night.
The German born beauties that are Felder Felder put on a show that left me reeling. I was absolutely blown away by the contrasting silhouettes, layering and metallics teamed with all manner of cowboy boots. Not only was it beautiful to see on the catwalk, I could imagine myself wearing pretty much every piece as it was really ready-to-wear.  We popped backstage to see what was happening and we met Armin, head stylist for Schwarzkopf who was filming a tutorial for the catwalk hair. He is the quirky guy who took a selfie of us in the monochrome snap back, cool guy!
From here we headed out for pizza with some gorgeously lovely bloggers who I'll link to properly in my next post. And finally, the after party. Hosted in the coolest little secluded location, dripping in class, flowers and beautiful people! We were so wiped out so we chucked a drink back and headed to the comfort of The Mayfair.

PS. I spotted Laura Whitmore and Nina Nesbit on the FROW too so naturally, I ran across the runway, took a photo, ran back.

I've got so much more to share with you! Thank you so much for reading.
