Nike and Fur

Casual outfits are my favourite. You already know this. I wear trainers 80% of the time.
Foot Locker were kind enough to send me some brand spanking new season Nike Thea, which I adore. I've developed an obsession with black trainers. The more 'boy' the better! This weekend I spent some valuable time in Birmingham with my best friend Laura, who got engaged to her absolute soul mate last week, and I'm ecstatic. Last night we partied, a little harder than I was aware of until this morning, when I was met with a hangover sent to crush my soul. It was worth it though. During my time in the Midlands I popped into a couple of vintage/charity shops in search of some faux fur. Jackpot. Oversized, grey faux fur £20. Happy with that!

Summer vibes

The weather is nothing short of ridiculous at the moment, so let me assure you, I did not venture outside this week to shoot this outfit!
Clarks kindly sent me some brand new SS14 wedges to style up. I love stripes, leather, layers and little details so I decided to add a winter-esque grunge feel to these shoes so I can start to try and introduce them into my wardrobe sooner than Spring/Summer!

That jumper

ACNE, one of my all time favourite brands. It's Scandi clean lines and ability to make you feel incredible when your wearing it are just 2 of the many reason why I love it. Layering, another great love of mine, especially in the Winter. When ACNE brought out this jumper, I tried to hunt it down for around 3 weeks, to my horror it was sold out, everywhere. I'm not one for buying dupe items, but when I couldn't get my hands on the real one....I settled for this She Inside one. I still love it and it still looks amazing so I'm happy enough!

Claire's SS14 Event

Last week I was lucky enough to be selected to attend the Claire's SS14 event held at Rosso Restaurant in Manchester. Spoiled, would be the appropriate word to use here, because we were treated to a 3 course feast, champagne and a Christmas card packed with a £50 voucher. I was also invited to attend the Jingle Bell Ball that night as Claire's were hosting the VIP gifting lounge! They are such a lovely team made up of wonderful people.

Claire's has a lot to offer next SS, I particularly loved the festival wear that's to come! Especially whilst we are so stuck in Winter.
