Keeping it simple

Today's post is a snappy one. I just wanted to check in and pop up one outfit that I can't get enough of at the moment. It must be all the bright colours you can see that makes it so desirable to me! Yes, clearly it's that.

My hybrid jumper x shirt is by an incredible designer named Sacai. Japanese and so talented, I'm so sold. My boyfriend introduced me to the brand as he works for Nike and Sacai have an unreal Nike collaboration that is also just perfect.
I'm such a sucker for keeping it casual, and I'm not about to change any time soon. These COS trousers are perfectly tailored but still give off a relaxed vibe, kind of like "I'm not trying too hard, but actually I've been planning this outfit for 3 hours".

These trainers are my new pride and joy, all the way from the US, Opening Ceremony just smash it for me. Minimal but cool and so different to anything on the high street. And, they're in the sale, ship to the UK within 5 days. Joy!

Shop my look:

Thank you so much for reading and I hope you're having a great start to the week.
As always, I would love to read your feedback!

Day 2 London Fashion Week with Warehouse #TalesofmyLFW

Day 2 at London Fashion Week was particularly exciting because I had the opportunity to hit the cobbles in head to toe Warehouse and take over their 22k strong follower Instagram for the day as part of the Tales Of My London Fashion Week campaign.

Warehouse is stepping into AW14 with a cool new twist on the modern woman's go-to guide, Tales Of The City, for style tribulations in urban city life. The guys at Warehouse want to reflect the modern woman in areas of Style, Work, Play and Relationships. Warehouse are collaborating with some truly inspirational people such as contributors from fashion and other creatives, including illustrators, musicians and bloggers to share their tale of urban city life.

To say that Warehouse have upped their style game for AW14 would be an understatement. I was so overwhelmed with the amazing collection when I visited their Oxford Street store for this collaboration, I literally spent hours choosing! I felt so happy and confident with my choice because it really represented my sense of style, and thats what Warehouse have gotten really on point with lately, allowing individuality in order to develop your own sense of style.

You guys can check out the Warehouse Blog HERE where you can read more about the latest campaign.

London Fashion Week Day 1

I'm back from London Fashion Week with a heavy thud into reality. To say this season was the most fun I've ever had at LFW would be massively underselling it. The atmosphere, the street style, the amazing people I've spent my time with and the shows have all been above and beyond my expectations. Day 1 is always exciting because everything is just kicking off and people couldn't be more ready for the buzz of Somerset House. That place blows me away season after season. I took to the cobbles of Somerset House in my monochrome uniform and Celine sunglasses c/o Shade Station this season, and was able to bask in the 23 degree heat. It was gloriously hot, if not too hot. There were some beautiful girls in massive chunky knits, I couldn't have sympathised more with them! So here is my Day 1 outfit and I can't wait to tell you all about the shows/events of my Day 1 in another post later this week.

Oakley Frogskins

I was lucky enough to be sent these killer Oakley Frogskin's by shade station. They are by far my favourite pair of wayfarers and they come in the best combo's! I chose the grey frame with the violet lens and truth be told, I'm fighting my boyfriend off them. As I type they are being packed away for a very sunny London Fashion Week which kicks off on Friday 12th September. I will be heading down to London to meet so many incredible bloggers and it's going to be so much fun. I promise to update as much as possible! I will mostly be posting on Instagram so you can follow everything as I experience it @ropesofholland.

I won the #SKFROW competition with Schwarzkopf to sit FROW at Felder Felder, stay at The Mayfair hotel and attend the Felder Felder aftershow party. I also get to report from the show! It's all a bit mental and it hasn't really sunk in yet, but its going to be the most fun! I even have my hair and makeup done on Friday by the Schwarzkopf team, which is always a great help when you're terrible with hair and beauty like I am.

Anyway, just a casual OOTD post here for you and I'll be back very soon with absolutely loads of news and beautiful street style inspiration.

PLT

Pretty Little Thing are pushing my culotte and minimal style obsession way beyond a healthy point...I mean look at these pieces! There's not a chance I'll be out of these culottes now, ever.  The gorgeous Fiona sent me out a package that made my week incredibly exciting, inviting me to style the contents up on here for you guys. I had to confess to her that whilst I was sat choosing the pieces that I loved, I was tucking into the biggest Haagen Daaz cookies & cream ice cream you've ever seen- my idea of a great night in! I have loved PLT since their launch that I attended some years ago now, they take trend to the next level and make it purse friendly without cutting corners with the quality, which is a very difficult task, yet one that PLT manage seamlessly.
I'm head to toe PLT here and this will now be one of my go-to outfits, honestly. I'm not a blogger who'd stick on an outfit JUST for a shoot, I will always wear it to death, and if I ever get something that I don't think will mesh well with the way I like to style clothes, I'll send it back. I'm still all over my Saint Laurent sunnies here too, as per usual, hoping the sun stays out long enough for it to be legitimate to be seen in sunglasses.

You can shop my entire look on the Pretty Little Thing website below:
Paradox Collection mesh insert sweat
Black culottes

Thank you so much for reading. Have an amazing weekend. I'll be in Ireland, with dad, on the back of his motorbike all weekend :)
