Vivienne Westwood & Pinafores with Sunday Best

I have been so excited to share this outfit post with you all. This jacket was a gift from Sunday Best boutique to say thank you for covering their Style & Shape night last month. It's the Safari jacket by Vivienne Westwood Anglomania and I am utterly in love with it. It's my must-have buy for that summer throw on we all moan about needing! It's beautifully oversized and structured so well that it hangs in all the right places. I styled the jacket with my Fashion Union navy pinafore to bring out some of the vintage rose colour in the jacket, and my black sheer H&M shirt underneath.
This outfit is a bit of splurge and save, the jacket is £489 and the pinafore is now £12 in the 50% off sale. I am a firm believer in our British heritage brands, and Westwood is certainly that. With her designs, I know I'll keep them forever and wear them again and again. It's an expensive piece, but the way you can integrate this piece into your wardrobe is endless.

Outfit post: Monochrome tones revisited

I don't know about you, but I just can't let the monochrome trend go....I just love how chic and tailored it can make an outfit.

My negative inspired mono collage.
Photo's taken from Wallpoper.com, Cmiper.com, 124rf.com

I was off out to meet my friend for dinner one evening last week, so thought I'd throw in a few photo's of my mono inspired outfit for you guys to see how much I'm loving it.
I'll apologise for the drainpipe in the photo's, he is quite obviously  photo bombing me. Oh, and for the frowny faces- it was bright out.

This necklace is one my mum gave to me, it's my idea of perfect really, gold and tribal-esque!
I decided on tucking the normal shirt collar back on itself, to make it a higher neck line because I feel like the jacket needs something higher sitting over it.

Are you still falling in love with monochrome?

Outfit post with leather panels, bows & gold

I'm a bit of a sucker for leather panelled, well, anything, so when this beauty arrived from Fashion union I was very pleased indeed. When items don't cost a lot, I expect the quality to be poor. Every item I've had from a 'fast fashion' brand, has impressed me. The jacket is gorgeous, versatile and such an easy throw-on for this ridiculously indecisive weather we are experiencing.

You can shop it HERE
My necklaces are pretty special to me, the Arabic one says my name, and was a gift from my parents when I was a baby. They only let me have it once I was 18! I layered it up with a very cheap Forever 21 'Love Me' disc pendant, which I am obsessed with.
I teamed it with this cool bow front shirt from Glamorous to soften the look, and make it a little more 'girly'. Most of you will see a very boyish trend emerging from my outfit posts, and that's me really, I don't wear dresses! period! My little high waisted shorts are from Urban Outfitters a long time ago, but I live in them every Summer so they'll be getting some airtime in the months to come.

Outfit post: London boyfriend denim

As you will know, I have been in London all weekend for the long anticipated Vogue Festival. On Sunday I headed to Shoreditch, East London, one of the most exciting places to be in London, for some good food and my daily dose of people watching.

I wanted to be comfortable after my 13 hour stint in heels at the Vogue Festival a day earlier, cue ripped boyfriend jeans and Converse.

What I'm wearing:
Sunglasses- Cheap Monday at ASOS
Necklace- Limited Collection at Marks & Spencer
Celine tee- Ebay
Jacket- ZARA
Jeans- *c/o Fashion Union
Trainers- Converse

I have been wanting some ripped boyfriend jeans since, well, forever but I have struggled to find some that fit well because I'm pretty shapeless so they tend to just hang off me. The pictured jeans are from Fashion Union by Glamorous and I have lived in them ever since they arrived!

You can order yourself some here

Are you wearing ripped jeans to death yet?
