Clarice Price Thomas

I have recently had the great privilege of working alongside Clarice Price Thomas, one of the most talented jewellery designers I've ever come across. Her pieces are beautiful, inspiring and really relatable. I say relatable because to me, the beautiful cogs represent time, and time is something that is so special and precious and often something I have taken for granted. These earrings signify a pivotal time in my life, and Clarice knows how thankful I am, and her lovely PR lady, Jordanne, who has been just gorgeous. Anyway, for anyone who is special to you, in whatever way, I couldn't think of a more fitting gift to give, whether it's just because or for Christmas.

Clarice's full range can be shopped online and she will make every second of the process special for you.

Keep your eyes on mine and Clarice's Instagram for an extra special competition....

Scarlett Black London

Khaki. A colour I fall in love with winter after winter. This dress is pretty girly if you ask me, the cut of it is beautifully flattering and isn't what I'm used to. You can usually find me hiding under a wonderfully oversized t-shirt. I was surprised to find that when I put on this 'Pitch' dress from Scarlett Black London, I actually loved the way it fit. Khaki and leather are probably two of my favourite partners. This dress is beautiful, and the pockets are soft and make a bold statement. I threw on my boyfriends mesh tee underneath to make the dress more casual and paired it with some black and snakeskin pumps and my trusty leather biker jacket.

Khaki Pitch dress worn with:
Topman mesh tee
Preen leather biker jacket
GAP black & snake print pumps
Vintage chunky bracelet
Kurt Gieger black & gold skinny bracelets
Monica Vinader stacking rings

Blog catch up & Fashion finds

My goodness I've missed you! Exam's/getting a career together really do get in the way of your entire life. Well it's done, I am now a fully qualified Physiotherapist and my Lord, it's been tough, but so, so worth it.

I thought I'd do a bit of a catch up for you. With everything happening so quickly I haven't had time to separate my posts so you're getting a little catch up mixture instead!

You will have seen that last week I was asked to enter the Clarks #freeyourfeet Summer style competition. God knows how it happened but I'm super pleased to report that I came second! So that's a lovely £50 voucher on it's way to me. I've already seen the sandals I'm going to get with the voucher- you should look if you haven't already, the collection is class. Check them out here!

Yesterday I went shopping for the first time in months (thanks again exam hell). I've intended to buy some high top Converse for approximately 6 years, so I thought it about time to act on these intentions. I love them, so simple but look so chic!

I don't know how you feel about leather in the Summer, but seasons don't make me move any further away from what I love. I'll always find a way to incorporate my favourite pieces into my outfits! It was pretty breezy in Manchester yesterday so I got away with my old friends, the zip detailed leather skinnies. My mum has single handedly topped any jewellery collection I've ever seen. The gold tribal bracelet I'm wearing is another one of the pieces that my mum has had for years and has passed the baton to me for giving it the air time it deserves.

As I wandered through the beauty hall in House of Fraser yesterday, I was grabbed by the visuals on the Chanel counter. The pops of electric colour were enough to send me straight to the Chanel make-up artists chair to try out some new colours. Now, I am not a beauty blogger nor can I even achieve a smokey eye, but the Chanel beauty advisor showed me the way! I bought this incredible limited edition No 57 'Blue Note' electric blue mascara, and at first I was thinking 'am I going to look like the 80's have chewed me up and spit me out?' but then she showed me that the flashes of blue go over the top of the black mascara, and just on the tips of your lashes. It looks stunning and I'd recommend it as a summer must have!

Finally, jewellery heavyweights My Flash Trash asked me to write a guest post on their blog. I was very excited and honoured indeed. They are now stocking their fabulous collection at 11 Boundary in Shoreditch so I wanted to write about the best of Shoreditch and things to make sure you do if you're heading there for the weekend. You can read all about it HERE on the My Flash Trash Blog

I think I'm about all caught up for now. I'll be back to post in a couple of days. And thank you for all of the lovely tweets of support during my exam's. I really needed them.

Outfit post with leather panels, bows & gold

I'm a bit of a sucker for leather panelled, well, anything, so when this beauty arrived from Fashion union I was very pleased indeed. When items don't cost a lot, I expect the quality to be poor. Every item I've had from a 'fast fashion' brand, has impressed me. The jacket is gorgeous, versatile and such an easy throw-on for this ridiculously indecisive weather we are experiencing.

You can shop it HERE
My necklaces are pretty special to me, the Arabic one says my name, and was a gift from my parents when I was a baby. They only let me have it once I was 18! I layered it up with a very cheap Forever 21 'Love Me' disc pendant, which I am obsessed with.
I teamed it with this cool bow front shirt from Glamorous to soften the look, and make it a little more 'girly'. Most of you will see a very boyish trend emerging from my outfit posts, and that's me really, I don't wear dresses! period! My little high waisted shorts are from Urban Outfitters a long time ago, but I live in them every Summer so they'll be getting some airtime in the months to come.

This gold bracelet is by one of the most eclectic, high end jewellery brands to recently emerge, J9 Two Five. Janine Packman is a fashion grad and spent 6 years as an accessories buyer in Sri Lanka at a premier department store. After meeting and working alongside craftsmen and silversmiths, Janine was inspired to start J9 Two Five.  J9 Two Five's brand ambition is to offer affordable luxury, and that is exactly what they do.

The pieces to come from the latest collection are incredible, and I am lucky to work alongside such an up and coming brand. And you lot are equally lucky because J9 Two Five are offering an EXCLUSIVE 15% discount when you use 'ROPESOFH15' at the checkout.

My Flash Trash: Disaya Promise Ring

The third item I got to choose as Ambassador for My Flash Trash was this absolutely beautiful Disaya Promise Ring. I am a ring fan. A very big ring fan. So when this arrived I could barely contain my excitement. Gold AND blue? are you kidding me? It's like it was made for my slightly larger than your average girls hands! Disaya are such a wonderful, eclectic brand, if you want pop POW or pretty elegant with a little bit of pop POW then Disaya is your brand.

You can shop the brand and see the Promise Ring here.

Are you a little ring crazy? Which are your favourite brands to shop rings?
