The knotted jumper
Hello from my Acne Studios knotted front jumper found thriftily in the Acne Archive AKA sample sale store, in Copenhagen. I absolutely love a knotted knit so you can imagine the eye widening situation when I (actually, it was Chris) found this. I recently got a new job so it was my "well done" present from Chris, I'm very lucky, most people would have got a card!
I suppose this type of statement piece could be hard to style, so I wanted to show you a way that I like to wear it and also, point you in the direction of your very own knotted knitwear.
I found these wonderful ones for you, a mix of price point and one brand, Yoins, that I've never heard of but I love the marl grey colour of that one, and its under £25....

London Fashion Week Day 1 with Schwarzkopf at Felder Felder
My day began at 10.30am where the majorly talented Armin cut my hair to fit in with the Felder Felder show hair look. Drawing inspiration from the laid back, sultry 70's, he worked wonders on me. From my usual blunt cut long bob he gave me a messy, relaxed short bob which I'm kind of in love with. Backstage was such an amazing place to be, it started off pretty relaxed but soon became a hub of electricity. There was the best vibe in the air, models being prepped and dressed, the Felder girls catching up with everyone and then finally the call for the show to begin.
Last season I had the mega opportunity to see the Felder Felder show from front row and their collection was hands down my favourite of the season. This season was absolutely no different, the sultry 70's and 'Rock Glam' vibes filled every corner of Freemasons Hall and I was once again wishing I could have lived through the 70's. I have popped a few of my absolutely favourite looks from the show above, I think you'll agree that if you weren't feeling the 70's trend before, you will be now.
Stay tuned for my diary of Day 2 with Schwarzkopf where I tested out my interviewing skills to find the best dressed hair on the street!

New Look: Exclusive Festival Fashion Vibes
We are well and truly into the Summer festival season. I don't know about you, but I look to my style icons for festival trends, then add my own style to that.
New Look have made an incredible timeline that takes us through festival fashion trends from as far back as 1969, at Woodstock Festival.
If you're trying to get festival ready this summer, New Look is the only guide you need. You can get so much inspiration from such an eclectic mix of trends. Don't just pack your floral headband this Summer...think outside the box.
Festival Fashion Timeline by New Look
My favourite trend to emerge from festivals past and present is definitely a little more grunge than girl....I like clean lines and chic outfits as much as the next girl but, when I'm sweating in a field filled with thousands of people, I want to be comfortable and effortless. And by effortless, I mean, slouchy tee, cut off denim shorts and dry shampoo (for my newly coloured lilac noted hair).
Check out Reading Festival, 1992 for some inspiration on the timeline above.

Neon inspiration
Neon is everywhere and it doesn't seem to be disappearing! Now I'm partial to a hint of neon, so when this neon coral jersey blazer arrived from Glamorous, I couldn't wait to style it up with some cool tones.
It's pretty heavy weight and feels great on, so when you're buying this item, you're getting something that will see you through a couple of seasons. I find it's a really nice 'throw-on' layer during the day, but it could work well to finish off your LBD on a night out.
You can get it HERE on the Glamorous website! It's £48 and they offer free next day delivery, so it can be with you in time for the weekend.
I styled the blazer with some high waisted washed, mid-blue denim shorts and a loose ecru cropped cami. With neon, the piece is a statement in itself, so the key is to team it with complimentary, cool tones.
Sunglasses: Oakley Frogskins
Bracelet: Hermes
Are you still in love with neon?

Inject the Spring 2013 trends into your wardrobe
Now most of you will have woken up to blankets of white snow this morning so this post may seem a little premature. However, I'm sure Spring is just around the corner so I wanted to do a post about how to create a capsule go-to wardrobe under £100 per item for the season we all eagerly await. Last year I started a personal styling consultancy service, Thread Style Consultancy with my friend so I will give you the best tips I've got! You can follow us on Twitter @threadstyle.
When I visited London Fashion Week this year, I spotted ample up and coming trends. There is certainly a trend to suit everyone! I'm going to take you through a couple of the key trends and then show you which pieces you need for your capsule wardrobe.
