STAY Apartments Copenhagen

I had to share this place with you. Last month I went to Copenhagen for a three night break and I was lucky enough to be able to make STAY Copenhagen my home for my time there. What an absolutely incredible space it was. Our apartment was the top floor XL apartment and I cannot express how huge it was! It was incredibly beautiful, in a minimal, Scandi way- which of course, I loved. To some of you this might look a little cold, but believe me, the underfloor heating sorted that right out! It was the perfect place for relaxing and working on editorial shoots (I couldn't go somewhere like this and not take my blog along right....?).

It was situated just out of town, approximately a 30 minute walk or 10 minute taxi (Uber!). The staff were ace, so friendly and helpful with anything and everything. Breakfast was wonderful, traditionally Danish, of course, so I guess I did eat my weight in pastries, but I'm ok with that...

I would absolutely recommend this apart/hotel and it's somewhere I'd stay again when I return to Copenhagen in the very near future- The Acne Archive isn't going to shop itself is it?

I hope you've enjoyed having a look into STAY Copenhagen and thank you so much for reading

Eight Hour Studio

Fancy having the best nights kip you've had for some time? Or giving the gift of a super comfortable sleep for Christmas? Read on...

Eight Hour Studio designs and produces handmade, hand printed African inspired, organic cotton pyjama sets and nightshirts that actually, can be worn as separates outside of the bedroom. Cool, I know. The inspiration for the designs comes from Founder Sonia's childhood as she did some of her growing up in Zambia, Africa and tells me she was always so drawn to colour and patterns.

Sonia Padam is the brains behind Eight Hour Studio and she's such a bundle of inspiration. She's a success story really. She left a job that gave her financial security, but also a job she simply didn't enjoy. Sonia decided to pursue something creative, something that made her happy, and I think that's one of the bravest things anyone can do.

Here I am flouncing around in the warehouse apartment I stayed at during my time in Copenhagen, wearing my favourite piece from Eight Hour Studio, an oversized nightshirt, with pockets- shock.

You can shop the collection online here or if you're London based, pop into Aida Shoreditch to get your hands on some.

Head over to the Eight Hour Studio Instagram page @eighthourstudio, it's pretty beautiful.

Thank you so much for reading. I really hope you enjoyed this piece.

WoodWood

Danish brand Wood Wood is breaking my heart with this shirt. I am literally obsessed with it. I absolutely adore oversized pieces, and I know sometimes they can be unflattering but I just can't help myself and I think all 5'10 of me can handle a little extra material. I love that it's collarless and that it's quite 'A-lined' in shape. The beautiful pastels fit perfectly with Summer and I still get to set it off against black and white leather notes.
