Denim and Crops

Here I am again decked out in some key pieces from Pretty Little Thing. My take on double denim is always black and blue, I just can't get along with blue on blue...My main styling twist here is the crop top. Crop tops, to me, scream night out with the girls. So because I would never dare to go as girly as a crop top without anything else involved to help to cover me up....I decided to pop my trusty Lee denim shirt under the cut out crop top, voila! These jeans are amazing, I absolutely love the multi zip detail and seamed knee patches, an absolute staple piece for the impending A/W season. My boots are also PLT, just the right amount of chunky to toughen up my look, and super comfy too! PLT have got some amazing transitional pieces in at the moment- you should absolutely check them out.

Shop my look:
PLT Crop top
PLT Multi zip skinnies
PLT Chunky leather boots
ASOS Denim shirt

WoodWood

Danish brand Wood Wood is breaking my heart with this shirt. I am literally obsessed with it. I absolutely adore oversized pieces, and I know sometimes they can be unflattering but I just can't help myself and I think all 5'10 of me can handle a little extra material. I love that it's collarless and that it's quite 'A-lined' in shape. The beautiful pastels fit perfectly with Summer and I still get to set it off against black and white leather notes.

Celine

Monochrome layering is my favourite past time, I'll never love a trend more. Fact! Channelling some Chanel catwalk love, I popped my brand new snake print leather Bermuda shorts over my leather pants. I'm wearing my beloved Zara 'ugly' shoes, even though I was frozen. And last but by no means least, my Celine jacket. Here it is in all it's glory, a jacket so beautiful I could cry when I look at it. It's serious! Oh and I popped up a top knot in my hair and I think I actually quite like it, considering I am the WORLDS WORST at hair.

What I'm wearing:

Jacket-Celine
Shirt- Won Hundred
Pants- Zara
Shorts- Dissimilar Apparel
Sliders- Zara
Black/gold rings-Only Child London
Silver rings-Jo Vane

Are you feeling the shorts over skinnies vibe?

London Fashion Week Day 3

Day 3. I think this was my favourite outfit, for no other reason other than that I was warm. The sun was out and I felt comfortable as I nursed the previous days' blisters with my Adidas trainers. I swear never to wear heels to LFW again, especially when there are cobbles to be negotiated with. I opted for a more casual feel to this days' outfit teaming a cropped knit with some fairly structured culottes and finished with a slouchy biker jacket by my new favourite London based brand, Another 8. I even took a tactical bag change c/o Paul's Boutique, I'm in love with this white/navy reversible clutch!

I wore:
Sunglasses: Le Specs
Jumper: Zara
Jacket: Another 8
Culottes: Topshop
Trainers: Adidas
Bag: Another 8
Clutch: Paul's Boutique- order here Paul's Boutique online store
Watch: Gown & Oars
Rings: Jo Vane, My Flash Trash, Cheap Monday, Monica Vinader

What are your thoughts on the comeback of culottes?

London Fashion Week Day 2

On Saturday 15th February I started my 4th season at London Fashion Week. What a weekend. We are in for SUCH a treat next season, the trends are unreal. I'm going to do a mini LFW series on my blog so I can share all of my experience with you, so sit tight, the posts will be up over this week. Although NY, Paris & Milan are all desirable Fashion Weeks, London has my heart. It's eclectic mix of people and style never cease to blow my mind.

Clean lines & beautiful silver

Jo Vane jewellery design is nothing short of fabulous. Creating bespoke pieces in silver & gold with semi-precious stones, she draws heavy influence from the environment, in particular the constantly changing coastal setting by her home.

You can shop the collection by clicking through to her online store HERE

I am pictured with the 'Reflections ring' sterling silver with a hint of rose gold & the 'Hammered silver ring'. I love both pieces individually, but I like to stack rings up to create a more unique look.

Recently, I Graduated from University in Physiotherapy. This weekend my friend was holding a Graduation party for us all so I popped on my best monochrome tones, my new favourite rings courtesy of Jo Vane, and headed off to celebrate. I was so glad I dug out my vintage structured bag that I found in a vintage shop in Leeds around 3 years ago- it's perfect, if not a little heavy! I go through phases with bags....I wear them to death then leave them for a while and move on to a new one!

Black cami- TOPSHOP
Sleeveless balzer- Zara
Skort- Zara
Cut out shoes- Carvela
Bag- Vintage

How do you like to wear your jewellery?
