Autumn layers: Monochrome tones
The darker days and nights also mean that it's appropriate to dig out my favorite colours....
I'm becoming really excited about layering over shirts at the moment, I seem to have so much knitwear that this works well with, and my collection is still growing! The jumper I'm wearing here is by La Redoute and to be honest, it is just unreal. La Redoute are fast becoming one of my most loved minimal, basics brands because they just do it so well. The quality and price point are both spot on. They have a number of seriously cool collaborations with French designers, and you should see some of the pieces. I've got so much of it to share with you!
The pants I'm wearing, that you've seen on me before, are from COS. I wear them regularly because I've not found a cut or fit that rivals them! They are the perfect awkward length wide leg trouser.
I'll be doing something very exciting with beautiful jewellery brand Missoma in the coming weeks and I cannot wait to share it with you. I'm layering up my favorite necklaces here. I'm wearing the engraved bar with the longer dagger from the Lucy Williams collection.

Keeping it simple
Today's post is a snappy one. I just wanted to check in and pop up one outfit that I can't get enough of at the moment. It must be all the bright colours you can see that makes it so desirable to me! Yes, clearly it's that.
My hybrid jumper x shirt is by an incredible designer named Sacai. Japanese and so talented, I'm so sold. My boyfriend introduced me to the brand as he works for Nike and Sacai have an unreal Nike collaboration that is also just perfect.
I'm such a sucker for keeping it casual, and I'm not about to change any time soon. These COS trousers are perfectly tailored but still give off a relaxed vibe, kind of like "I'm not trying too hard, but actually I've been planning this outfit for 3 hours".
These trainers are my new pride and joy, all the way from the US, Opening Ceremony just smash it for me. Minimal but cool and so different to anything on the high street. And, they're in the sale, ship to the UK within 5 days. Joy!

Fashion Week: Missoma & a little red dress
I dressed my LRD (Little Red Dress) up with my trusty Stans, and I felt pretty good about how the look pulled together. The feel of the dress would change wildly if you popped on some heels with it and I am not about the life of heels.
This is what I wore over London Fashion Week (which feels like forever ago now). So I was *the* comfiest person.
The wonderful Marisa, Creative Director and Founder of Missoma jewellery was kind enough to send me out a few pieces just in time to show off during LFW. I cannot tell you how excited and inspired I feel by Missoma. If you haven't already had a look online, go there, right now. The beautiful, trend fitting pieces that are made from the most incredible materials (even diamond...) make me so happy! They have recently lunched an emoji style range which is literally the best thing I've seen in a while and not only are they gold, they contain diamond pave too. Joy!
Pieces I wore:
Tiny Horn Necklace in gold
Funny Face bracelet with diamond pave
Gold Evil Eye charm bracelet
My new 'it' bag. Nobody else's 'it' bag, but mine. Another COS piece c/o my style driven boyfriend. My friends have dubbed it as 'Lindsey in bag form' which I would heavily agree with, just to clarify, not the rigid square design but the clean lines and minimalistic feel.
I feel really at home in this outfit and it was so simple to put together. You've just got to know your body type and go for what makes you feel incredible.
Shop my COS pieces:
Structured leather backpack
V neck scuba dress
*On a side note, I really would love to know what it is you like to see here on my blog so I can do more of it for you, in a more consistent way. All feedback would be wonderful!
Thank you so much for reading!
Have a wonderful week.

Minimal Sunday's
Growing up, Sunday's were the one day I couldn't stand. All of the kids on my street, myself included, would have to be in at a certain time mid game of 'man hunt' (parents have no respect for mass games of man hunt) for a Sunday afternoon dinner, then we would have to wait at least 30 minutes to 'let our tea go down' and by that point we were told it was too late to go and play out again, so to go and get in the bath because it was school in the morning. So for me, I'm very happy to see the back on Sunday's as a child!
This Sunday, I headed out into London for lunch and a catch up with one of the most beautiful people I know, Abbie from Fashion Tatt. She was late, which is funny because she's never late- I was stood at the top of the escalator like my date had stood me up! But I'll let her off because she made my day.
I'm a little obsessed with every item you can see me wearing here...I kid you not. Keeping it minimal, but comfortable enough in ASOS White Cashmere for a Sunday.

Grey and Black
Firstly, I'd like to say the biggest thank you for all your support from my last post- you all really are amazing and helped me so much.
Onto the threads...cosy and casual are the order of today's post and I am loving it! Especially now the weather is pretty God awful. I saw these incredible knit flares with splits in in Zara at the weekend and I couldn't leave without them. They are so amazing! Super soft and super long for my long legs. I threw on Dave's black COS jumper and my trusty Superstars for a proper relaxed Sunday outfit. I love how basic and clean looking this outfit is. Who knew I could be anymore Tomboy!

Stripes
Stripes have got to be my favourite 'wear anywhere' trend. Given half the chance, I'd wear something oversized and nautical everyday. Here I'm wearing a somewhat girly pinstripe pencil skirt that's borderline too tight for my liking....but I can deal with it. I'm still obsessing over my Ark platforms in this post, I've always thought a great pair of shoes can make an outfit, and I still stand by that! This is definitely a trait I picked up form my fabulously stylish mum who owns so many shoes, she has to hide them from my dad.
